Maud Hundley with her daughter Betty Carrico started their home workroom in 1947 in Anchorage, a suburb of Louisville Kentucky. She got her start sewing for the Red Cross during WW II. Customers picked both the design and the frame. Hundley's studio moved to Middletown, KY in the 1960s and closed after her death in 1985.
