Unusual and truly impressive Victorian Formee Pattee Crucifix ornate with acorn and oak leaves. Piece of jewelry from 1870s and used in the Second Period of Mourning. This piece is a brooch pin that has the possibility for being used as pendant. The crucifix pendant has not necklace but this pieces usually were worn with a simple black silk ribbon. You can see the texture and marks of manufacture in the images and also some light wear and age. The necklace is very lightweight and has a very dark brown almost black color. A nice and almost baroque Vulcanite Ebonite jet crucifix can be used in weddings, religious activities and as mourning accessory. Pretty, and unique also. This necklace materials are untested. In very good antique condition with some small chips at edges. Please see photos carefully
