Elegant and unique vintage Japanese plate. This Arita style porcelain piece boast blue red and gold geometric floral design with Japanese landscape in the center and waves in the frame. The backstamp on the bottom is a blue glaze signature by the artist and it also has an embossed signature. Made in Japan. In an excellent vintage condition!

NOTE: Irene Finch has written about this kind of plate in "The Lost Century". Whether this is old or new, it looks nice quality especially if it is painted by hand.
